Thai Customs agency destroys 72 million baht worth of illegal e-cigarettes

On February 23, Deputy Director General of Thailand Customs Pantone and representatives of Thailand's Economic Crime Fighting Department and Thailand's Information Technology Crime Investigation Department jointly held a press conference on "Destruction of Articles violating Customs Law" and announced the illegal products jointly seized by the three departments.

The illegal e-cigarette products were transported by the General Administration of Customs to Wane Prefecture, Ayutthaya, on February 24 to be destroyed by a roller. The products destroyed included a total of 874,535 e-cigarette hosts, e-liquids, mouthpieces and other related equipment with a total value of more than 72,019,523.46 baht (tax included).
