Occupational health examination

Occupational health examination includes pre-employment physical examination, regular on-the-job physical examination, post-departure physical examination, emergency physical examination and follow-up physical examination, according to "Measures for the Administration of Occupational Health Supervision" (2002.04.10) Decree No. 23 of the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China:

Article 4 The employer shall organize the workers engaged in the occupational-disease-inductive operations to undergo occupational health examination.

Article 6 The employer shall organize the workers exposed to the occupational-disease-inductive factors to undergo the occupational health examination before taking up the post.

Article 8 The employer shall organize the workers exposed to the occupational-disease-inductive factors to undergo regular occupational health examination.

Article 9 The employer shall organize the workers exposed to the occupational-disease-inductive factors to receive the occupational health examination upon leaving the post.

Article 10 The employer shall promptly organize health examination and medical observation for the workers who have suffered or are likely to suffer from acute occupational disease hazards.
